and we are simply followers of Jesus
If we are followers of Christ, our lives should tell of His Story. His message to us is a 2000 year old story that remains the most important story ever told. We need God's help through the Holy Spirit to become all we are to be. Our Indentity is found in Him.
Our Name and Tag tells our approach to serving the Savior of the world
Rush Church started with a vision revealed to Jill and Jim at the exact same time while looking through a window into a empty building in June 2006. God planted the seed and it was their greatest desire to see this new thing grow.
The doors of a new church were open in July 2009. Their aspiration to see people find hope and purpose led them to Canfield Ohio, Jill's home town.
Seriously, Jesus Christ is really all sufficient and only those who have tasted can know of His incredible love and provision.
Our church's scripture - Acts 2:42-47
All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity — all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.
